Art Teacher & Yearbook Coach
Ms. Lacey
I graduated from ASU with a bachelors in Art Education. When I am not at Pathways teaching art, I am a full time portrait photographer. I love traveling with my husband, hiking and cuddling with my two cats. We are expecting our first baby this Feb. 2022! I have LOVED being an art teacher for the best group of students.
My Approach
I believe students learn best by creating as much as we can and having fun doing it. No matter where a student is at in their art journey, my hope is to help each appreciate art and find that inner artist. I don't believe in perfection, I believe in putting in the effort and not giving up. We have a little mantra to start our class off and it goes like this...
This Year's Curriculum
Students will take a journey into the Art World Around the World. I want students to begin to think like artists, explore different art cultures and learn to make art with intention. High schoolers will dip their toes into art as a profession and so much more.
